Martha Tilston "Bimbling" (2005)

It's funny what a difference context makes.  I had been listening to this as a British Folk record and was surprised at how it didn't meet my expectations.  Suddenly I realized that it was more of a singer songwriter album.  In that context, Bimbling holds up well.  The influences are not as traditional as I had expected (or, in all honesty, desired).  Its contemporary nature seems to have removed it from a sense of place.
